Panel beaters to Boksburg

Two bays and a compressor is how it started. Twenty-something years later the workshop covers the whole yard, but it's still the Van Wyk family on the floor.

The story

Johan van Wyk learned the trade the old way — apprenticed at a body shop in Germiston, then years on the floor before opening his own doors on Atlas Road in 1998. The first customers were neighbours; the first insurance approval came two years later.

Today his sons Pieter and Dawie run the day-to-day: Pieter on assessments and insurance work, Dawie running the floor. Johan still walks the workshop every morning and still signs off every chassis pull.

A team of fourteen — panel beaters, spray painters and an admin office that actually answers the phone — puts through around forty cars a month, most of them insurance claims, all of them guaranteed in writing.

What we stand by

Straight talk on quotes

If a panel can be repaired, we repair it. If it needs replacing, we say so and show you why. The quote you sign is the price you pay.

Fix the metal, don't hide it

Filler over a crease is not a repair. Our panel beaters work the steel back to shape first — it's slower, and it's the reason our work lasts.

Guaranteed in writing

Every repair leaves with a written workmanship guarantee. If something isn't right, bring it back and we make it right.
